Dear Dr Susan Lim,

 

I am writing to thank you for your generous, financial support towards my higher education.  I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected as the recipient of your scholarship.

I am currently in my 3rd of year of medicine.  It has been an interesting journey as the exposure to clinical cases increases especially when I had the opportunity to go for rural placements this year.  I love working with my hands and my goal is to enter a residency program and engage in research which I am passionate about.

Thank you again in awarding me the scholarship, I am able to concentrate on what is important for me, education.  Your financial generosity has allowed me to be one step closer to my goal.  I hope one day to help others, as you have helped me when I needed financial support.

I am writing to thank you for your generous $7500 Dr Susan Lim scholarship of Medicine.  I am very thankful and grateful to learn that I was selected as the recipient of your scholarship.

I am currently doing General medicine rotation in Gosford with a very dedicated Cardiology team.  The moment I received the email about this scholarship offer, I quickly looked up background to the Dr Susan Lim Scholarship in Medicine and how the scholarship came about.  I was delighted and relieved to know that there are so many people out there who are willing to help.  I am definitely financially struggling at the moment and this generous scholarship finally tells me that there is certainly light at the end of this tunnel.

I will be finishing medicine in a few more months.  Thanks to you, I am one step closer to my goal of becoming a Neuroscientist.  I am very thankful.  As I am writing this, tears are swelling up in my eyes.  I can never thank you enough.

Your generosity has inspired me to help others and give back to the community.  I hope one day I will be able to help other students to achieve their goals just as you have helped me.
